During the day time, Stow Lake looks absolutely gorgeous. Many people come to this park to enjoy bright days and fresh air. But at night...this place is not somewhere you want to find yourself exploring by yourself.

During night, the place is nearly pitch dark and the atmosphere is not so inviting.
It is a perfect location for a horror moving to be filmed, and seems like the perfect hideout for lost spirits. Urban legends about the Stow Lake have been circulating for nearly 100 years. The story goes:

There once was a lady who was walking her baby in a stroller along the park. After a while, the lady got tired and rested on the bench next to the lake, with the stroller right next to her. While she was sitting and chatting with another woman, the stroller happened to stroll away, and the baby fell into the lake. She went into the lake to look for her baby, and that was the last of her existence...or her human existence at least.
It is rumored that if you go to Stow Lake late at night, there is a lot of paranormal activity.

If you say “White lady, white lady, I have your baby” three times, the lady will appear right in front of you according to legend. She’ll then ask you, “Have you seen my baby?” If you say yes, she’ll haunt you and if you say no, she’ll kill you, but those are just rumors.
